It seems there have been some sudden updates on Shopify, or perhaps some 3rd party app, because our website has totally changed overnight and is broken in several areas.
All of our previous themes saved have all of the same problems. It is extremely frustrating to wake up one morning and have a website that doesn’t work at all, and have no control over this. We haven’t made any code changes.
We didn’t give our consent to any automatic updates. So why has our website suddenly changed? This is happening more and more frequently. For this to happen, especially in the heat of Q4, is not acceptable.
For the record we use the Brooklyn theme.
Now to the issues:
1) White layer coating almost all of our product images:
As you can see on the homepage or collection pages, the majority of product cards have a white layer covering the images. I thought modifying the lazyload settings could make a difference, but I was unsuccessful alone. Only the product card images seem to be impacted. Other images do not seem to be impacted.

2) Cart ajax drawer no longer appears:
Out of the blue, we have another issue. When adding products to the cart, visually it looks like nothing happens. When refreshing the page (the only way to make a visual change occur), you can see a purple dot on the cart icon. When clicking on the cart icon, you go to the cart page. This is all wrong.
When adding a product to cart, the cart ajax drawer should slide into the right side of the screen. Similarly clicking on the cart icon should also open this drawer cart.

3) Menu button is unclickable
Clicking on the menu button in the header does nothing.

4) Sudden blank space between buttons on cart
Last (hopefully) but not least, the button on our cart are no longer symmetrically spaced. Now there is a huge white space dividing two of the buttons.
