I am writing to share a serious and deeply concerning issue that has affected my business and, from what I see, many others as well. Shopify is currently withholding multiple hundreds thousands of dollarsof my company’s funds with no prior notice, no clear explanation, and zero transparency.
These funds are from legitimate transactions processed through Shopify, and the lack of communication or justification is not only unprofessional but potentially a violation of Shopify’s own Terms of Service and applicable financial laws. The disruption this has caused to my business is substantial and unjustifiable.
I’ve reached out to Shopify Support multiple times, and to date, I’ve received no resolution or meaningful update.

To Shopify: I am formally requesting the immediate release of the full outstanding balance and a written explanation for the withholding.
