URL redirect from a wordpress page to Shopify

Hello, I have a rather unique question.

Currently, my website is hosted on Wordpress + Woocommerce. Now I am trying to move my store to Shopify. I have already replicated my entire website/store on Shopify, and hopefully within a week’s time will retire my old store.

On the old website, there is a page in this format > store-name.com/page-name > I have already printed this link as a QR code in my product packaging. When I move to Shopify, any new page is created in this format > store-name.com/pages/page-name. I have already replicated my page on the new Shopify link. So I am looking for a solution wherein anyone who scans the QR code is redirected from the old link to the new link (on Shopify). Can anyone please help with this.

Hi @ankurshanker ,

Go to Online store → Navigation. Click on View URL redirects. Click on Create URL redirect. Set it up as follows and save:

Thanks for your prompt reply. I have a follow up question. When I retire the old website, the old link <store-name.com/page-name> wouldn’t even be available. So, would the redirection still work in the absence of the old link?
