Use One Sku for different variants (quanity set)

Hi,

I am currently using Minimal App (I think) for the Shopify Store.

I have been currently using multiple Skus for each product since each SKU had a different quantity of a number of the same products.

E.G Product: Sunscreen - Option: Each (Sunscreen-1P) and Buy 5 Get 1 Free (Sunscreen-6P), where the options had different quantities of a product - not a different size or color.

But instead of splitting SKUs, I would like to know if I can use one SKU code (Sunscreen-1P) and when a customer chooses 1 (One) Buy 5 Get 1 Free option, it automatically adds 6 of Sunscreen-1P not 1 of Sunscreen-6P; and if the customer selects 2 (Two) Buy 5 Get 1 Free option, it automatically adds 12 of Sunscreen-1P, not 2 of Sunscreen-6P;

I am wondering if there is an app to set product quantity automatically based on order number or a script that can help this.

Hi

The way you set it up as is you would bundle up your new SKU that is actually linked to another SKU.

So product XYZ is actually a bundle of 5xABC

We have a bundling solution to accomodate this as we constantly recalculate inventory to ensure all items quantities are correct. Our app also converts the order for a bundled product to the components as you cannot process the bundled product. This helps with fulfilment processes and automations.
