Use Shopify search bar instead of search icon in sense theme

Hello shopify community, I would like to use the default search bar instead of the search icon on Shopify’s Sense theme.

To be clear, this one:

Can someone help me remove the original icon and place this box on the center top of my website?

Thats not a problem if the search bar can appear under the logo. Can you help me with it?

Hi Suyash1, that’s a step in the right direction. I would like the bar centered between the logo and the account icon. And if the bar could be a little wider without the cross icon behind it that would be great. Thanks for the effort!

Hello, thank you for your time. A few things:

• I feel like the search bar is not in the center, shouldn’t it be more to the right?

• The tap on logo to go to the home screen does not work anymore

• I can’t use the search button on my phone

• There is no logo or search bar on my ipad

I hope you can fix these problems, other than that, thanks and great job!

It looks a lot better now, thanks!

Three more things:

• When in windowed mode the search bar is not visible and the search icon is also not visible
• Is it possible to change the word “Zoeken” located in the bar to “Waar ben je naar op zoek?”
• I feel like the search bar is still not in the center if you compare it with the words on the purple announcement bar, and the second search bar (please see the picture below). Can you re-try to center the first search bar like the second search bar?

please clear the cache and check all 3 changes

The first two are done. Thanks! The search bar is still not in the center. You matched the left side of the second search bar, but the right side of the first bar is longer, so it’s not in the center. If it’s easier for you, you can match the sizes of both bars.
