We currently have an integration between Shopify and our ERP system. We import our orders into our ERP and then we are able to process and fulfill the orders (pick,pack,ship) outside of Shopify.
Our carrier accounts are integrated in our ERP so we are able to generate a shipping label with our rates. When we fulfill our orders, we push the tracking into Shopify and update the Fulfilment status.
Considering that Shopify Shipping have higher discounted rates, I would like to know if there is a way or if its possible for us to use or access these rates instead outside of Shopify to a) generate the shipping label and then b) update the tracking information and fulfilment status like we are doing now? Or can this discounted shipping only be accessed inside the Shopify admin.
Before I approach our ERP provider with the idea and a proposal for development, I need to first confirm if it’s even possible for this to be accessed.
