Using Digitally ‑ Digital Products app for my digital items and having problems

I’m using the theme “Refresh” and I created a digital product that has 2 variants. The app says I can add files for variants but when I go to add files through the app it only let’s me add files for the product as a whole and doesn’t give me any options for my variants. Not sure if this app or “Digital Downloads” is a better free option.

The “Refresh” theme might not work well with variant-specific files in the Digital Downloads app. Here’s what you can do:

  • Contact Shopify app support to confirm limitations.
  • Look for alternative apps that support variant file uploads.
  • As a temporary solution, use the product description to include separate download links for each variant.
