Using Password Page to Collect Email Addresses

I had a few people enter their email address on my password page before I was able to update my theme language to remind them to check their email to confirm their subscription (I have the double opt in selected). Since these individuals have not completed the confirmation and are listed as customers, but not subscribed, how would you suggest I reach out?

It sounds like you might be worried about reaching out to these customers as they haven’t technically subscribed to email updates or newsletters for your store. Since you aren’t planning to send them any marketing or store updates, it can be perfectly fine to check in with a customer regarding updates that pertain to them or their account.

This might be a nice touch as a customer to hear directly from the store owner with a reminder about their account, and give them the option to move forward with a subscription for email marketing or not.
