Using shopify flow to send email after purchase

Hello,

I am having some problems with shopify flow. Basically when a customer purchases a specific product (products in my case are workshops) I want to send out an email which has details on that specific workshop and a link to a health declaration.

I’ve created the trigger and then the condition which in this case is matching the product name. I then want the action to be to send an email so I’ve created the email template. However, when I click on email I get the option to search email or send marketing email.

If I click on search email and try and search for my email template nothing comes up. If I click on send marketing email I get the option to attach the template but then it confirms this will be sent out only to those who have subscribed to marketing emails. I want this email to go to the customer who has just bought the product, they may not subscribe to marketing.

I am sure shopify flow is great once you get going but I’m struggling with these first steps so ny help is much appreciated.

Hi @Saltpath , I found a similar thread here. Seems like it’s not possible natively, only with third-party apps.
