Using Shopify shipping rates in conjunction with another shipping app

Is it possible to use standard shipping rates set up in Shopify along with custom shipping rates set up through another plugin like ShipMagic? My client set up Shopify shipping rates a couple of months ago (pretty labor-intensive) and now we’re finding more specific use cases that need a per-product shipping rate applied (mainly drop ship items), but when I test with ShipMagic, I am still seeing Shopify shipping rates (regardless of making the ShipMagic rate exclusive).

I’m aware that I can do custom Shopify shipping rates per product but it would require me to do a custom shipping rule for each product’s quantity and will be very labor-intensive as well. We would prefer to use ShipMagic to accomplish this but i need to know if they work in conjuction or if I would need to run everything through ShipMagic instead.

To confirm once again, yes you can show rates from ShipMagic app along with rates from Shopify’s shipping. And yes, you can also hide the rates from Shopify’s shipping when rates from ShipMagic are present.
