I am looking into using Shopify to manage online ticket sales. Reaching out to see who else is using Shopify and what add on app there using.
Here is my wish list.
Sell tickets per the day per the hour
Customer must come in and show purchase receipt (prefer that they show us a QR Code or similar) to get actual tickets
No online ticket sales 15 mins prior to departure.
Customer contact info capturing
Prevent multiple use receipts (need way or option to scan which then completes the transaction and customer cannot come back with same receipt to scan)
If a customer makes a screen shot of the qr or bar code, it will not be valid OR the system can still “complete” the transaction (again to prevent multiple uses)
We want control of how many ticket sales are allowed online vs in house, per train. Fear is overselling a train capacity.
