UX design mobile issue When clicking homepage link on Google

Topic summary

Mobile-only homepage issue triggered from Google search results: clicking the brand’s result on a phone loads a page with an incorrect layout that looks like a basic Shopify template, and the URL includes an unexpected “/a/p/” suffix. The problem does not occur on tablet or desktop.

Key details reported: UX (user experience/design) is wrong on mobile; URL ends with “/a/p/”; issue appears only when navigating via Google to the homepage.

Response and guidance: A community member asked for concrete details to diagnose—precise reproduction steps, a publicly accessible example (site URL), and inspectable evidence (e.g., screenshots). They linked to a Shopify community article on how to get effective support.

Current status: No solution provided yet. Action item is for the original poster to share specific, reproducible information so others can investigate potential causes. Discussion remains open.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. When we google our brand name on a mobile device and click the link to direct us to the homepage the UX design (looks like a basic template from shopify) is all wrong and the website link has /a/p/ at the end. Does anyone know how to fix this? This is only happening on mobile not table/desktop.

Hi @LivyCollins123 :waving_hand: Other people are not mind readers, always remember other people we cannot see what you see or know what you know.

You MUST communicate in concrete terms with actual details, your specific reproduction steps and-or publicly accessible inspectable examples
