Hi store owners! Quick question — when an app adds blocks to your theme (loyalty, timers, reviews, upsells, etc.), how do you prefer to customize how they look?
Option A: You style everything inside the app itself — layout, colors, content, all in one place with little preview. The theme editor just positions the block.
Option B: You set up the block’s logic in the app, but style its appearance directly in the theme editor with a live preview of your actual store.
Both have tradeoffs and I’m genuinely curious which feels more natural to you. Drop A or B (and why, if you’re feeling generous).
Context: I’m an ex-Shopify designer (9 years) now building an app, and I want to get this right as this has been hot debate forever.
