Shopify import list will not import using country United states? it failed all lines? is this a bug? How do i get my customers imported?

Could you share an example of what your Country/Country Code fields are filled in as? For example, an existing customer that I exported to create a template with looks like this for those fields:

Sure, i have used “United States” and “United States of America”. i’m not sure what else to try. they both failed on import for this specific line “country”.

Thank you for the screenshot! Try just “United States” for country and “US” for country code. You can test with a single customer line in a CSV file to see if it works, and if it does you can use your Find & Replace tool in your spreadsheet editor to replace all fields with the updated text.
that worked! thank you! i wish it would have failed the “country code” and not “country” as i had United States. thanks again
