Its really strange that on my store, the variant picker doesnt work only for about 22 products alone out of over 500+. I havent been able to figure it out.
Here is an example of two products that use the same default product template, but yet it works on the first one but not on the second one.
I think its a 3rd party theme, but this was purchased by our developers who we do not contact with. It was working fine for a few years actually and its strange that even now it works but only doesnt work for certain products
