Variant with 2 dimension , autoselect o hidden not avaiable

Hi I don’t know if is a Design (wiht css) or other but I have a problem, I have 2 variant Color and Size, and the stock

38/White 1pz

38/Red 1pz

40/White 1pz

42/Red 1 pz

If I chose size 42 the “white” button is disable but “checked” and the customer need to check “red” to purchase… is possibile “remove” the color after chose the size… ora autmatic “select” the first color avaiable?
