When I update a product using Shopify API, the idvariant of that product changes. Is there a way to update the product using the Shopify API but the idvariant is still retained? Because my product management system is integrated with Shopify, when variants change, it will have a big impact.

I don’t think the variant ID should be changing when you make unrelated changes to the product. Exactly what change are you making via the API?
