Recommended troubleshooting steps:
- Check spam folder for emails from Shopify or OpenSRS

- Whitelist sender addresses (noreply@registrarmail.net, openSRS.com)
- Contact Shopify Support for manual verification if other methods fail
Status: The issue remains unresolved, with urgent action needed before the 15-day deadline to prevent the store from going offline.
Hi @Debabystore
I see you’re having trouble receiving the verification email for your newly purchased domain on Shopify. This can be frustrating, especially with the 15-day deadline to verify it before the domain goes offline. Don’t worry—I’ll walk you through how to fix this.
Why This Happens:
The verification email is sent to the email address you used when purchasing the domain, but sometimes:
- It lands in the spam/junk folder.
- There’s a delay in delivery from the domain provider (Tucows or another registrar Shopify uses).
- The email address on record might have a typo or be incorrect.
- Your email provider might be blocking the message.
How to Fix It:1. Check Your Spam/Junk Folder
- Sometimes the verification email gets filtered out. Look for a message from Shopify or OpenSRS (Tucows).
-
Confirm the Email Address on File
- Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Domains and check if the email listed there is correct.
- If it’s incorrect, contact Shopify Support to update it.
-
Resend the Verification Email
- In Settings > Domains, there should be an option to resend the verification email. Click it and wait a few minutes.
-
Whitelist the Sender Email
- If your email provider is blocking the email, try adding noreply@registrarmail.net or openSRS.com to your safe sender list.
-
Use a Different Email (If Possible)
- If you have another email, you can update it and try sending the verification there.
-
Contact Shopify Support ASAP
- If none of the above works, reach out to Shopify Support directly. They can manually verify your domain or help resolve any email issues.
What Happens If You Don’t Verify?
If the domain isn’t verified within 15 days, it gets suspended, meaning your store will go offline until you verify it. That’s why it’s important to fix this as soon as possible.
If you need any other assistance, feel free to ask, and I will try my best to support you.
Best regards,
Daisy.
