Any suggestions for the video carousel?
My clients are pushing me to add videos but i am not sure what value do they add

True.
Video is heavy by itself, creating a video carousel would be very questionable.
Why do not glue all vides together and have single video then?
One can see carousel as a faux video itself – both are animated images 
Be very careful if you will still be implementing it to pause or stop videos which are not currently in view, otherwise you can end up with very sluggish page.
Loading multiple videos in parallel will ruin your page speed as well, again be very careful to lazy load them.
Videos usually help with engagement if they show product use or motion that photos can’t capture. I had to set this up on a client theme recently, and short 3, 5s loops performed way better than long clips. If you add a carousel, keep file sizes small so it doesn’t tank page speed.
So? If clients tell you their favorite color is 
brown and want all text AND backgrounds to be that color..
Are you gonna do it.
Or that the videos MUST blare music no matter what if it annoys pretty much everyone on the internet
Are you gonna do it.
Your the expert do your job don’t let clients harm themselves, or your just another replaceable AI.
Make them give you an actual business reason beyond ze-cool-video-is-cool.
When they can’t give a MEASURABLE reason, repeat their current conversion rates as documentation in your mails.
Questions like this are also a sign that a/b testing isn’t in place properly.
There’s a reason slideshows stay prolific even though they suck in multple ways with the goal being to just create bounces.
Such UI is a weak excuse to try and cram more into less instead of making actual choices in a dumb game of pass the buck.
They don’t want to choose so what next? you don’t want to do your job making them choose??
How does that make sense
PROVE or DISPROVE whether there is value or fix the broken system that doesn’t allow data based decision making when you need to sidestep silly rationales.
