Vitorious Health & Beauty ( Start-Up)

Hi everyone! :waving_hand: I’m currently building Vitorious (vitorious.com), a premium herbal wellness brand, and I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts! My goal is to create more than just a tea brand—I want to build a thriving community around health, fitness, wellness and better daily habits. If you were in my position, how would you grow a loyal community, and based on the website, who do you think my ideal customer persona is? Any honest feedback, ideas or examples from your own experience would mean a lot. Thank you in advance! :folded_hands:

Hey, congrats on the launch, the site looks clean and premium. I’d simplify the homepage a little, focus more on the tea range, and move the wholesale section to a separate page. That would make the brand message much clearer.

if you want to build a loyal community, you have to stick with it for years. Given so many opportunites nowadays, opportunity cost will be huge.

And you are aiming towards more than just a tea brand - dont do that. Diversification right now is the killer. Stick with the tea niche for years.

instead of building a community, try doing partnership with someone who already has the community.

@shopvitorious ,
I like the direction you are taking. If your goal is to build a community I’d focus less on selling tea and more on sharing helpful content around healthy habits, fitness, recovery, and wellness. People tend to stay loyal when they connect with the brands values not just the products.

From your website your ideal audience seems to be health conscious adults who value natural premium products and are looking to improve their daily routines. I’d also encourage user generated content and customer stories they’re often more effective than polished marketing.

One thing I’d think about is giving people a reason to come back even when they don’t need to buy tea. For example, short weekly content around healthy habits, recovery, hydration, or simple wellness challenges. If people start visiting because the content helps them, the products become part of the lifestyle instead of the only reason to return.

Hey @shopvitorious ,

Hope business has been treating well!

Congrats on the launch, I recommend you build a loyal community by providing consistent value through tips, newsletters, and authentic customer reviews. our target audience looks like wellness focused consumer who value premium herbal products.

Healthy lifestyle content and creative outputs on socials must do the majority of the work indeed. By creating valuable stories is to find valuable customers!

I just visited the site and the blends themselves look strong.

One thing jumped out that ties straight to your persona question: the site is speaking to two different people at once. The hero says “Fuel. Focus. Recover. Precision blends for athletes and high-performers,” but the banner up top is a Women’s Month beauty sale. Then, the catalog seems to run from performance teas into skincare (Krimas, Codbio) and aromatherapy.

If you go with the performance crowd, lead with fuel/focus/recovery and let the beauty line sit in a secondary collection. If it’s the natural-wellness woman, flip it.

In terms of choosing, I’d either let performance decide for you (in other words, which one are you gaining greater traction in?) or ask yourself if either your own expertise or the product more naturally lends itself to one or the other.

Once that’s clear, your Herbal Journal is a real asset. Tie each post to one blend and one goal (better sleep, cleaner energy) and collect reviews that tell a story, not just a star rating.

Last thing, the fastest way to answer “who is my ideal customer” is to listen to the customers themselves.

For context, I founded Carti, the AI shopping assistant for Shopify. Most merchants use it to answer product questions, recommend the right blend, and nudge hesitant shoppers.

But for you, I think the real value is customer insight. Our chat logs show you exactly what every visitor asks on site, so within a week or two you’d have a stack of real conversations to read through, and they’ll tell you whether people are showing up for energy, sleep, weight, or glow. That answers your persona question with data instead of a guess. Plus, it’s totally free to use at your scale.

Hey! I checked your store, and one thing I noticed is that your About page tells a great story. I’d recommend bringing a few key lines from it onto your homepage and pairing them with a simple image carousel and short captions.

This can help you build a stronger connection with visitors, as it gives them a story to relate to before they start exploring your products. Since it’s visible as soon as they land on your website, it can also make a stronger first impression.

Congrats on getting Vitorious this far, the site already looks really solid!

I agree with Daniel on the persona split. You’ll definitely want to commit to one core direction for your homepage: either high-performer/athlete or holistic wellness/beauty.

As a theme developer who have some time working closely with wellness and beauty brands, a few specific UX and design thoughts jumped out at me:

1. The Missing Story Between Tea & Cosmetics

I was a bit confused seeing cosmetics sold alongside tea (which clearly feels like your hero product). Right now, there isn’t a clear brand story connecting the two.

  • If you keep cosmetics, create a “story bridge” section on your homepage template—for example, explaining a “Health from Within (Tea) + Care from Outside (Cosmetics)” philosophy. Without that narrative, cross-selling cosmetics on a tea site feels like two separate stores merged together.

2. Your Site’s Visual Vibe vs. Your Copy

While your tagline leans heavily into “hardcore athlete,” the color palette and overall visual aesthetic feel tailored to active, health-conscious women who want to improve wellness from within.

If that’s your true audience, lean into messaging around holistic routines, clean energy, and inner radiance rather than aggressive biohacking copy. Your store’s design is already telling this story, your copy just needs to match it!

3. Community Idea: User Routines & Shoppable Video

Since your vibe suits women focused on active lifestyles, turn your “Herbal Journal” blog into a true community hub.
