Hi @LauraOO , The reason for this behaviour is because most volume based discount apps use Shopify’s Draft order Checkout to apply custom discounts. There are many drawbacks to this approach:
- Native Shopify Coupon Codes dont work.
2.Checkout is not tracked in Google Analytics of any other analytics tool
Up untill now this was the only workaround to have advanced discount rules in Shopify. However, recently shopify launched a functionality of Checkout Functions, where you can create your custom discounts that work natively in Shopify’s Online store checkout.
We have recently created an app using this technology by the name of Every Possible Discount. The discounts created from this app can combine natively with Shopify’s existing discounts and also your analyitcs will work without any issues.
