Want to create multiple vendors for a single product

Topic summary

  • Goal: assign multiple vendors to one Shopify product while keeping a single product listing visible to customers and hiding any multi‑vendor details.

  • Example and pricing: “Product A” sourced from two vendors (V1, V2) where vendor cost prices differ but the customer-facing selling price remains the same.

  • Inventory behavior desired: prioritize and sell from V1’s stock first; when V1 is out of stock, automatically continue selling by drawing inventory from V2.

  • Customer experience: no indication on the storefront that the product is fulfilled by different vendors; the product should appear seamless and unified.

  • Ask: confirmation whether this setup is possible and, if so, clear step‑by‑step instructions to implement it. No solution or guidance has been provided yet; the request remains open.

Hello, I would like to attach multiple vendors to a single product.

E.g. Product A has multiple vendors, V1 and V2
I want to list Product A as a single product, without showing the customer that it is from two vendors.
The cost price is different but the selling price is the same.

Product A automatically sells inventory stock from V1.

However when Product A runs out of inventory stock from V1, it automatically switches to selling the inventory stock from V2 instead.

Could I know if this is possible? Please instruct me with clear instructions, that would be absolutely helpful. Thank you so much for your help.
