Want to implement indian numbering system in order confirmation email template

Hi All,

I want to implement the Indian numbering system in product price (for above 1 Lakhs) in order confirmation email template. I tried many things it is not working. Can anyone please help me on that.. Thanks in advance.

Ex:

indian numbering system: 1,20,234.00

Thanks Jerry. Actually i tried some javascript code for the same issue ,it is not working in email template. It is working on other webpages. Have you implemented the JS code in email template?
