I would like to convert the dawn theme into a 2 page site (home page with catalog on bottom + contact page). How can I delete the existing catalog page in the theme?

Want to remove "Catalog" Page from dawn theme

Go to your online store → Navigation → and select Main menu and than delete the “catalog” menu item
