I operate an alkaline water delivery service that is growing, but it isn’t large enough to justify using Shopify Plus. Right now, we face challenges in tracking recurring business orders. Currently, we record the number of bottles delivered on a spreadsheet and process billing through QuickBooks. I want to automate this process, but since the quantity of bottles varies with each order, a Shopify subscription isn’t the best since we can’t adjust the number of bottles without messing up the recurring orders. What would be the best way to automate this process in Shopify?
I do not quite understand what’s your goal.
Do you send water and then bill at the end of the, say, month?
Do you want to have better tracking or improve experience for Customers?
Say, you may look into adding a reorder form to customer pages so that they can easily review past orders and place new orders of most popular items with single button click after amending quantities.
Or you can have Flow to automatically send customers a link to pre-populated cart page a week after they’ve placed an order… (would need a paid plugin though for sending e-mail).
