Way to send staff email notifications only when a specific product is ordered and paid?

We have zapier too and can use that. But we only want the email to send when a specific product is ordered and paid. Thanks!

This should be easy enough to do with Shopify Flow—or with Zapier. Just be sure to add a filter step to check if the order meets your criteria.

What do you want to happen for the orders that do NOT contain the specific products? Will you send these notifications to a different staff member or have no notifications sent at all?

If the latter, you will probably need to disable all order notification email so only the ones sent via Flow or Zapier are sent.

If the former, you will still need to disable Shopify’s native notification but you will need to set up two flows or zaps—one for orders with the specific product and a fallback for all other orders.
