I am putting this post to see if anyone else has the need for Meta Fields in the Draft/Order line items. I do not understand why Shopify does not allow nor have the functionality to do this. For a wholesaler, that need dates (different delivery dates) or instructions for specific line items, Line item Meta Fields are a necessity. I am also seeing if anyone had had the same issue, and have found a workaround, or an app that enter orders/draft, and allow the ability to enter Custom/Meta Fields information in the line item.
