Hi @WolfieVoir

For this, I will need to make changes in the theme code; it’s not possible with CSS alone.

Best regards,
Devcoder :laptop:

Do you know how i could make the changes in theme code? Thanks!

Hi @WolfieVoir

Sure! You can edit it from Online Store → Themes → Edit code, then open the specific Liquid file (like footer.liquid or newsletter.liquid) and add your custom code there.

thank you for this!

do you know what custom code i need to add? sorry!

Hi @WolfieVoir

I’ll need to add the code directly in the theme because we also have to add an option in the Customize section, and I’ll need to custom code the file where the newsletter code appears.

:bomb: DO NOT do this type of thoughtless “easy fix” things blindly without it already haven been the plan.

Or a budget to a/b test.
READ: you burnt the time and money on an actual premium feel not because of some non-existent cool factor or run of the mill suggestion.

It’s how so many new merchant websites look like every other dropshipping no-effort nonsense.

For autoplay a video should have been made specifically to fit the actual site, and or loop, and or start/end on a custom-frame.
Autoplay video is common user annoyance if you do it wrong it will cost you money if you mis-apply it.
And sound won’t play in most sane browsers.

Sanest path is to just iterate simple hero images until you have a business actually running.

i recommend removing that video from the homepage. It’s big, blurry, and not serving any purpose. A lot of first-fold space is getting wasted there.

hi thank you! thats just a placeholder video - i plan to have a video of the product or a campaign video there. will keep this is mind though for when i have the real content!

This is an AI response! Not sure what the point is though.
