my site has been redirecting to scam sites now and then , lot of people are complaining , Also my google ads have been suspended and i have been notified as a compromised website in reason. I have been following up with the shopify team , they are on it , but no breakthrough since 4 days now.
Technically, there are limited sources of this redirection:
App(s) – sometimes it happens that apps are sold and new owner use them “differently”;
Product description(s) – if you’ve imported your descriptions from other sites or copy-pasted this may happen as, say protection measure from the original content owner;
Theme code – some unhappy devs may do that to you…
It’s hard to tell without seeing the actual storefront.
