Key Price Thresholds Identified:

  • 50% off: Creates a perception of getting significantly more value than paid, triggering purchase intent
  • 70% discount: Becomes an automatic buy trigger where shoppers don’t consider other factors
  • Under $10: Specific example of a $9 personalized keychain that felt irresistible due to uniqueness combined with low price

Common Theme:

The price I can’t say no to is the one that feels like I’m getting way more than I’m paying usually around 50% off that makes me think, I will want to buy.

When I see minimum 70% discount on any worth products I usually buy it, I will not see anything else, I just buy it.

I caved during a weekend promo—$9 for a personalized keychain on an online shop(Maybe Shopify). Looked cute, felt unique, and at that price? :collision:  :collision:

No way I was walking away from it. ??
