I’d like to set a weekly sales limit for my product. Not a cart limit. While still allowing for pre-orders of the product for the following week when they sell out for the current week.
For example: 10 sales per week
Customer 1 orders 6, customer 2 orders 6
Customer 1 gets all 6 fulfilled that week.
Customer 2 gets the option to fulfill 4 this week while 2 become pre-orders to be fulfilled next week
OR, they can choose all 6 as pre-orders to be fulfilled the following week.
I’ve tried setting the inventory number but because I have 5 variations of the product I can no longer control the inventory of the main product.
Removing the variations and just making 5 separate products doesn’t work either because they’ll each have their own inventory amount (Each product set at 10 in inventory could still allow for 50 orders in 1 week)
Ive tried 3rd party apps but all Ive found only provide cart limits, not total store-wide time-based sales limits.
Can anyone help?
