What are common issues when connecting Shop Pay and PayPal?

Hello. I’m having issues with connecting my shop pay it’s saying I’m not filling the guidelines but I don’t know what’s missing cause I have done everything I was told. Also, it won’t let me connect my PayPal to collect my payments that was made through PayPal.

In order to have Shopping enabled, you’ll need to follow the Shop Merchant Guidelines and ensure your products do not fall under the Prohibited product types. If you’re unsure which Shop Merchant Guideline or prohibited product type is preventing Shopping from being enabled, you can contact Shop Support directly.

In the meantime, your customers can still take advantage of viewing order tracking, recent orders and seeing the available contact information for your store on the Shop app.

In regards to your PayPal query, were you able to have a look at our resource for Setting up PayPal on your store? Please let us know if you’re experiencing errors when setting up PayPal within your Shopify admin, Settings > Payments section and if there is an error message present.
