Hello Dominique24,

Thanks for reaching out!

Well, if you’re a newbie, then SEOKart is all that you need to optimize your online store for the search engine.

SEOKart is an all-in-one SEO app with some amazing features, let me list them for you:

  • SEO Audit: Using this feature, you can carry out an in-depth audit of the website based on 15 SEO factors, which helps in identifying the SEO-related issues that are categorized under Meta Tags, Images, Content, Broken Links, and URLs. On the basis of the issues, every page of the website is awarded an SEO score, which can be optimized by considering the AI-generated suggestions, and help improve the overall SEO score of the website and its ranking on the search engine results page (SERP).
  • Image Optimizer: As the name suggests, this feature helps in optimizing the images on the website. You can compress the file size of the image, change its file format (JPEG or PNG), and add keywords to the file name and alt text of the images using this feature.
  • Bulk Optimizer: This feature enables the user to customize a template for different kinds of pages on the website with the help of diverse labels, like product name, description, URL, etc. Thereafter, by enabling the feature, you can optimize all the pages on the website in bulk.
  • Cruise Control: By enabling the cruise control option, you can automate the optimization process for new meta tags and pages. This feature automatically optimizes the newly added pages on the website on the basis of the customized template. Bulk optimizer and cruise control run in the backend and do not interfere with the front-end activities of the website.
  • Rich Snippet: Rich Snippet lets the website take up more pixels on SERP by providing additional informative information to the users, which helps the website stand out on the results page. Using this feature, you can add a Product Markup Snippet, FAQs Snippet, and Home Page Snippet.
  • Rank Tracker: With the help of this feature, you can check and track the rank of the website on different keywords, based on 4 variables, namely language, country, search engine, and device. You also get the AI-generated keyword suggestions that best suit the nature of your website. You can also add your three key competitors and compare the ranking of your website with theirs on different keywords.
  • Google Analytics: There is an integration of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in the app. The app pulls up the data, like revenues, traffic, orders, and conversions from different channels, from GA4 and presents it visually in the form of graphs, charts, and diagrams, which makes it easy for the users to draw comparisons effectively.
  • URL Editor: This feature lets you optimize the URL structure by adding a keyword to it, which somehow increases the keyword density on the website and improves its chances of ranking better on SERP. Additionally, you can reduce the length of the URL to make it easy for the users to share it. After editing the URL, you can implement 301 Redirects to the new URL, which helps you transfer the value of the old URL to the new one.
  • 404 Fixer: With the help of this feature, you can assess the website to identify all the broken links and fix them by redirecting the traffic to the right location. Again, the redirects are 301 Redirects.
  • Page Speed: This feature helps you to track and compare the page speed of your website, different pages of the website, and categories on desktop and mobile devices. You can pull up the historical data and compare the improvement in the page speed of the website on both devices after the integration of SEOKart. The app also offers an add-on service - Page Speed Optimization, which costs $149, but every month certain eligible stores are offered this service for free.

Happy trading!

Hope this app helps you grow!

Hello, I am new to shopify and I was wondering if you have used any of the apps like CJ.. I can not seem to figure it out

Hi @dominique24

From my experience in the e-commerce space, apps which have shown to be most effective to increase revenue and customer trust are: subscription apps, bundle apps, product review apps, general social proof apps. While I’d like to give you specific apps, all of these are created differently, each with its with their own shortcomings. I recommend taking a look at them on the Shopify app store and seeing which ones would work best for you and your store :slightly_smiling_face:

Have a nice day :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @dominique24 :waving_hand:

If you’re just starting out, here are some must-have Shopify apps to make your life easier:

  • DSers (Dropshipping) – Automates order fulfillment and product sourcing, great for beginners.
  • Klaviyo (Email & SMS Marketing) – Helps you send automated emails and texts to boost sales.
  • PageFly (Landing Page Builder) – Lets you create high-converting pages without coding.
  • Kefi Bundles (Product Bundling) – Great for increasing AOV by offering product bundles.
  • SEO Manager (SEO Optimization) – Helps improve search rankings and get more organic traffic.

Each of these apps is beginner-friendly and can help streamline your store.

What type of store are you running? Happy to recommend more based on your needs.

Hi @dominique24 ,

If you’re new to dropshipping or Shopify and starting from scratch, setting up essential apps early helps you build a smooth and scalable store operation from day one. Automating key workflows—such as order tracking, delivery updates, customer reviews, and SEO—allows you to focus on growth instead of handling everything manually once orders start coming in.

I recommend using Trustoo to collect, display, and manage authentic customer reviews, Parcel Panel (use code COMMUNITY for 40% OFF) to create a professional order tracking page and send automated shipping notifications, and SEOAnt to optimize your store’s SEO performance and improve organic traffic. Together, these apps help new Shopify stores build trust, increase visibility, and drive more conversions from the start.

(see this English Parcel Panel Order Tracking Tutorial if you need: https://youtu.be/YsB198Oe6Qk?si=u4hKm4jJDR7DIgNl)

All three apps integrate smoothly with other marketing tools, making them ideal for long-term growth and improving customer shopping experience. They also help reduce manual work—such as replying to tracking questions, managing reviews, or optimizing product pages—so you can focus on scaling your business as a newcomer :slightly_smiling_face:

Hope these suggestions can help.

@dominique24 When I first started, I made the mistake of installing too many apps at once

What actually helped was focusing on a few key areas:

  • email marketing

  • reviews/social proof

  • and especially product page optimization

Honestly, improving the product page had the biggest impact for me. Even small changes like better layout, adding FAQs, or highlighting benefits made a difference.

If you don’t want to mess with code or expensive builders, you can try tools like SectionsLab — it has pre-built sections and widgets you can add to your PDP pretty easily.

I’d recommend keeping your setup simple and only adding tools that directly improve conversions.

Hey dominique24,

Welcome to the world of e-commerce! Here are a few essential apps I’d recommend for your ‘starter pack’:

  • Monimo Review App: Social proof is the biggest conversion driver. Monimo is excellent for collecting and displaying customer reviews in a clean, modern way that builds immediate credibility.

  • TrustMark: It’s vital to use trust badges. Showing secure payment icons helps ease customer anxiety at checkout and reduces cart abandonment.

  • Turbo Drop: If you are starting with dropshipping, this is a must-have. It helps automate the product import process and streamlines your fulfillment so you can focus more on marketing and less on manual tasks.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck with your new store!

Nemanja J.

I suggest you try cross-selling and translation apps. A cross-selling app will help your store get more sales without depending on ads too much, while you can reach to international buyers with a translation app.

Hey @dominique24

hope you are doing great!

I recommend some apps for beginner are:
1.judge.me for reviews
2.Klaviyo for email marketing
3.SEO Booster for SEO
4.Shopify Inbox for customer chat
5.Google and Youtube for marketing integration

Hi @dominique24

I hope you’re doing well,

For a new store, a few things make the biggest difference early on. Your storefront matters, so a builder like PageFly is worth having since it lets you customize pages without touching code, and a lot of the review and email apps people mentioned above actually plug right into it.

Getting found matters just as much as looking good. Tools like Ahrefs or Semrush can help you find the right keywords, so you can optimize your product pages and content around what people are actually searching for.

Once traffic starts coming in, you need a way to bring people back, which is where Klaviyo comes in for email and SMS together. And since a brand new store has zero social proof, something like the Growave is handy because it covers reviews, wishlists, and a simple loyalty program in one install rather than three separate ones. Shipping and order tracking apps are worth adding too, but I’d hold off until you’ve got real order volume.
