Hi all and thanks in advance for the help. I’m limited to pos companies as I’m based in the Bahamas. Looking strongly at Shopify. Most pos seem to tailer to e-commerce, due to company location, I would only be dealing with in-person sales. I am also required to use the local banks credit card systems. Not understanding fully, but looks like I will still be charged a processing fee from Shopify?
Not sure what I would be charged as most info is for online transactions. Any help for simple pos would be greatly appreciated

I have good news the reason you are having a hard time finding if transaction fees will be charged on the POS sales processed via an external gateway is there wont be any. There will be fees charged if you are using Shopify POS but as you suggest if you use your external payment system no fees get charged as Shopify is only recording the sales not handing any of the money.
