i want do to some modification on my checkout page like sending ga event on page load , expanded order summary by default on mobile view and few other things

Google analytics should be insightful, simply sending GA events is not going to be useful in the long run. I take it you want to track abandoned rate and conversion rates.
Expanded order summary on mobile you might find an app that specifically works with Checkout UI. Otherwise you would be building your own checkout extension or look for a partner that has worked with Shopify Plus Checkout Extensions.
If you’re posting on behalf of a client store then you should make it clear you need someone to assist you!
Shopify has removed the option to edit the checkout, you will have to use Checkout Extensibility to make some limited change in checkout.
