Seeking a Shopify bundle app to let customers build “mix & match” bundles by selecting one item from specified collections (e.g., A + B + C) and apply a savings. Products are separate items (not true variants), and the merchant wants multiple bundle offers on a dedicated page (e.g., 4 towels; 2 towels + 2 bags), without relying on discount codes.
Suggestions shared:
Bundable and Bundle Builder: general bundle-building options.
Bundleup (BundleSync): backend bundles for inventory sync and post‑purchase order adjustment; front‑end selection would still need a theme-based bundle interface.
Bundle Kit: supports Mix & Match and Multi‑pack; discount via overridden price with compare-at price.
Bundle Bear – Volume Discounts: proposed for volume-style deals.
Bold Bundles: shows mix‑and‑match on product pages; merchant said it might work and planned to try it.
Orderbot: suggested later; merchant said it does not fit.
Key clarification: “variants” are distinct products across collections, not variant options within one product.
Status: No confirmed solution posted. Another participant asked what ultimately worked, so the outcome remains unresolved.

I need a bundle app that will allow me to specify a set of collections and for the customer to select a variant within each specific collection. I don’t want to add a heap of single products.
eg: buy a bag + towel + hat and save $x
Then they would be able to select a variant in each category.
additionally I would like to have a number of different bundle options on a specific bundle page.
eg;
buy 4 towels save $x
buy 2 towels and two bags save $x
etc
and when they select the bundle they want they just have to nominate the variant within the nominated collections
I feel like I’ve looked at all of them and none do what I want.
There are a variety of bundle-building apps available in our app store that I think will suit your needs. Feel free to check them out and find which one suits you best. I’ve compiled a couple of popular options below for you:
The first part of selecting products from a collection would require a theme based bundle app whereby it creates a custom product page where the user selects from a range of products to build a bundle.
Second part can be handled by a backend driven bundle app that doesn’t require any changes to your theme. For example you can set up your variants as an option of Pack size like:
Single
Pack of 4
You then bundle the multi packs using something like our bundleup app which works in the background. There are 2 main functions of our app:
1. Inventory Management
Our app lets you connect up products to correct SKUs and we then update their inventory based on the component stock level. So in your example you would bundle the 4 packs with the “Single” SKU. When the Single variant goes down in stock your packs will also adjust accordingly.
2. Order Fulfilment
When you sell one of the variations the master stock level won’t reduce automatically. What our app does is update the order post purchase by replacing the order line with the Single SKU as order line which then reduces that stock. This then feeds into point 1 above where it updates all linked variants.
thanks. I’ve looked at all of them. I think I may have used the wrong wording. my products are variants of the same but they are their own product, not listed as variants on the site. they are all part of the same product collection though.
I want to say “buy A + B + C and save $” but within the A, B and C - all different collections, I want them to be able to select one product from a nominated collection. I currently use a code to make this happen which works fin but now I want to add more offers but with an app and not rely on codes and people to remember to use them. the issue is my “variants” arent actually classic variants as in they’re not in the same product listing. they are individual.
In this case, I’d consider looking at Bold Bundles as their app displays the mix and match offer within each product page that you choose. For example:
