What can improve my conversion rate after ATC?

Hi there!

I have been having a good amount of ATC sessions but people are not converting.

I’ve checked the customer journey, watched recording sessions, email flows and other things are also set properly.

Can anyone suggest me things that I could do to improve my conversion rate after ATC?

Hi,
To comment on CR needs a deep dive for sure.
Having said that, to increase conversion after ATC, I would recommend to check; a. payment methods, b.delivery time, c.social proof (reviews, ratings) d.price. Hope this helps.

Hello @SanaKhan ,

Can you please share more details about the product/niche, then I can give relevant advice.

It is worth mentioning that there are hundreds of ways for how to improve the conversion rate. But nobody knows what exactly will work for your store. What worked for one may not necessarily work for you. Test different approaches and find the ones that work for you best.

A more complex approach is likely to improve things.
You can follow these tips to increase your conversion rate:

  • improve website navigation
  • create high-quality descriptions of your products
  • use large, high-quality images
  • integrate product videos
  • cross-sell and upsell your products
  • optimize for mobile
  • support and guide your customers
  • enhance the security of your website
  • integrate different payment options
  • drive loyalty
  • implement testimonials and customer reviews
  • build and implement email marketing strategy
  • sell on social media

If you want to add some custom logic to your site to implement a brand new idea that might help you increase conversion rates, don’t hesitate to ask. My Whidegroup team is always ready to share our expertise in e-commerce website development, optimization, and customization.

Hello @SanaKhan ,

Can you share the url of the website?

Hello SanaKhan!

As the saying goes: “you can only improve what you can measure”. A general ATC rate may offer you some visibility but its not helpful when you really want to understand which products are generating views and add to carts, which product have low (or high) conversion or abandonment rates. You need this visibility to be able to take actions in improving the product offer, the pricing or other factors that in the end would result in an improved overall conversion rate.

There are few apps that can offer this visibility, because Shopify does not provide such detailed analytics for products and its quite an operation to set up to track many million page views and distill data into useful reports.

I would suggest to try out our app, Datma, here you can play around with a demo, no signup needed: https://demo.datma.io/shopify/reporting/metrics/1416 - this a direct link to a reports with all products with conversions, add to carts, abandonment rates. We also have a free 30 day trial in case you want to test it out on your store’s data.

Best,

Peter @ Datma

If you are getting plenty of ATC but little sales, it might be time to look at how your site is handling visitors. A few sluggish pages and excessive loading time can make people leave before they buy.

I recommend using thecarbonfootprint.ai It illustrates how the carbon footprint of your website is connected to performance issues such as load time and resource consumption. A lighter, greener site is not only environmentally friendly, but can also convert.
