Someone can tell me if this theme is legit and can i buy it?

Quick question first of all. What’s the name of theme that you’re referring to? The link you shared with me looks like it’s Atelier theme and it’s free on Shopify theme store so not sure what exactly you mean by buying it.

Also, be aware because people out there scam a lot when it comes to selling themes so do your research first before buying any.

Of course it’s not a Shopify own Atelier.

So:

Homepage looks nice and has a nice assortment of sections.
Also not heavy and prettyt fast.

However:

  • The menu looks very basic on desktop and none on mobile(?);
  • Desktop/mobile switch width is different on different pages (?);
  • Cart icon is not shown properly on mobile;
  • Cart drawer does not show close button;
  • Hover animations are not fine-tuned;
  • Images are not responsive;
  • Catalog page “moodboard” does not work properly;
  • Comparison section (before/after) is not properly animated too;
  • Catalog filter square checkboxes are ugly and also show native round checkboxes (?);
  • Newsletter form does not work properly on subscription;
  • Single-image and single variant products do not show how media is displayed and switched, how variant selection works;
  • No product image zoom at all;
  • Not much of an ARIA attributes on elements.

Also – I do not like when all CSS and Javascript code is stuffed into HTML.

To summarise – it looks like a beta version or, rather like an AI-generated theme.
Not ready for purchase.

While it mostly for developers, it lists a lot of requirements and testing techniques to tell whether the theme is worthy.

Please note that buying the theme will not include images. It has functions, so you will need to customize it after purchasing.
