What email notifications are actually being sent out?

I have looked everywhere, but cannot seem to figure out what notifications are being sent. I see all the templates, but how do I know which ones are actually being sent out? TIA!

Can you be clear with your explanation?

For notifications such as order confirmed, canceled order confirmation,
etc. There are a ton of notification templates but I can’t figure out how
to know which ones are active and get sent out to customers.

Non is active until you add the recipient or if you only do automation the will trigger by itself.

To it manually follow this steps.

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Notifications.

  2. In the Staff order notifications section, click Add recipient.

  3. From the first drop-down menu, select the email address for the notification from the following options:

    • Select Email address, and then enter a new email address that you want to send the order notification to.
    • Select a staff to send notifications to their email.
  4. If you want to create notifications for orders from a particular POS location or from the web, then select a location from the list. You can select All to create notifications for all orders. To add notifications for more than one specific location, you need to create them as separate order notifications.

  5. Click Add an order notification.
