I have a digital products store with its own domain in Shopify, now I want to change the store to another domain, my question is if when changing the domain the buyers will be able to access their order and download it without problem or if not, how could handle it?
I appreciate any help as my concern is not to upset my regular buyers.

Assuming that you are still going to own your old domain and keep it connected to your store, your old links should automatically re-direct to the new domain and orders remain unaffected. This is done by setting your new domain as the primary domain.

Thank you very much for your answer, yes, I plan to keep the old domain and redirect it to the page for at least the next year. Your answer is very helpful and solves my doubt, I appreciate any additional suggestion to take into account.

In addition to the above, I recommend letting any existing customers know about your domain change before it goes live. This can be an excuse to touch base and connect with them, but also ease any concerns they may have by seeing an unexpected domain re-direction.
Also, it’s never a bad idea to remind them to save their digital files locally to ensure they always have access.
