Please help me find the quickest way of adding product to smart collection.

I’m creating a product and immediately add it to the cart. This product will be added to smart collection by a few rules (2 rules by product type, 1 rule connected with product name).

Also, I have a discount that should work for products in smart collections.

The issue is - seems like the process of adding to smart collection takes more time than adding to the cart and the discount cannot be applied, because the product did not manage to get into the collection during this time.
