I have used the Booster SEO and Image Optimizer by Booster App.
Only the Free Version then I was trying out the free trial but someone told me
it doesn’t optimize images for faster speed. $34 a month…
What I liked about it was it was easy on the eyes and user friendly!
So a Shopify rep recommended Image Optimizer Page Speed by Avada?
It’s only $29 a month… but it was confusing as hell…
It talked about Meta tag rules etc… I was lost… I do believe it’s a better app but
was confusing to learn how to use…

#2 Can anyone help me get started in learning how to set it up etc. ?

As you may know, there’re many factors to consider when it comes to page speed, and Image size is just 1 of them. So the combination of several techniques to improve speed is important.
With these features, you just need to turn them on, they will automatically do their job. To measure the improvement, you can check the site’s speed before and after enabling them with https://pagespeed.web.dev/. This tool is also used to provide you with the site’s speed in Shopify.
