I understand that you are in the middle of setting up Shopify Payments. Essentially, you will need to submit your details for tax purposes. If you are a sole proprietor and don’t have a tax ID for your business, then you can submit your Social Insurance Number (SIN) or your Social Security Number (SSN) instead. If you have a registered business, you will need to also submit a Tax ID Number or TIN.
