In regards to your question, the average store score speed ranges based on certain functionalities of your store. I recommend aiming to optimize for your own unique shop. However, there are some factors to look into that can affect your store score speed.

First, we can look at how your store score speed is calculated. Your score is based on a weighted average of the Lighthouse performance scores for your store’s home page, your product page with the most traffic over the last 7 days, and your collection page with the most traffic over the last 7 days. To learn more about your ranking, speed score over time and how your store is calculated, take a look at our resource here.

There are some factors that may affect your store’s score speed such as apps, theme code, sizing of images and videos on your store, third-party services etc. To help improve your store score speed you can look into disabling apps that you no longer use, disabling theme features that are not in use and look into resizing images. My question is if we will have an example range of 5.05 seconds and if it exceeds 7 seconds it is a slow store that is my doubt what range we have

Your online store speed score is calculated out of 100 using Google Lighthouse. I recommend checking within your Online store > Themes > Online store speed section and clicking view report for further insight.

Your speed report will let you know the following:

  • If your store is slower than similar stores
  • Same speed as similar stores
  • Faster than similar stores
