I just created a new property, but I’m not sure how to integrate it with my Shopify store.
Is the new tracking ID provided by the existing account connection?

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your question with our network. Shopify does not yet support the Google Analytics 4 update, however, this is something we are currently working towards implementing. With that being said, there are still alternatives to make this newest update usable on your site.
We do continue to support Universal Analytics properties (formatted with UA-), which can still be generated via Google Analytics. To use a Google Analytics 4 Analytics property alongside your Universal Analytics on your Shopify site, please refer to this google support article.
Alternatively, you may also manually add a Google Analytics 4 property to your website by referring to the following google support answer.
