I could archive a test order in shopify admin.
The order is already fully paid, and it doesn’t show up in unfulfilled tab.
There is some pages that explain about archiving fulflled order, But for unfulfilled order, there isn’t.
So, I wonder what occurs after archiving unfulfilled order.

Nick here from Shopify. Good question!
Nothing major happens when you archive an unfulfilled order. It greys out the name and details of the customer in the order status page to show it’s been archived but still shows the same details you would normally see for the order. I made a test order on my test store and archived it while it was unfulfilled to show you what happens, you can see the screenshots below:

Something to note is that you can also unarchive the order at any time should you wish:
The main function of this would be the ability to delete an order should it no longer be relevant while it is still unfulfilled as you can only delete archived or cancelled orders.
