What resolution should banners be for mobile?

Hi! I’m looking for the perfect resolution for my pictures which are usually of very high resolution to show on mobile view without looking too small. What is the ideal resolution for it? Also, do I have to change the resolution in Canva/Adobe or I can just convert the higher resolution to a smaller one for mobile?

Thanks!

Hi @alonelanister About the image you will have some notes later:

The ideal resolution for displaying high-resolution images on mobile devices can vary depending on several factors, but here are some general guidelines:

Pixel Dimensions: For mobile devices, it’s recommended to use images with a maximum width of around 1920 pixels. This resolution will ensure that the image looks sharp and detailed on most mobile screens, without taking up too much file size and causing slow load times.

Aspect Ratio: Consider using standard aspect ratios, such as 16:9 or 4:3, as they are widely used and supported across different devices and platforms.

File Format: Use a file format that provides a good balance between image quality and file size. JPEG is a common choice for photographs, as it offers excellent compression while maintaining visual quality. PNG is a good option for images with transparent backgrounds or graphics with text.

Hope my solution will help you resolve the issue.
