Hi @GROOPIE Welcome To Shopify Community So Cross-variant shared inventory is a big gap, something like offering a “set” bundle (one of each variant, say a blue and pink pair) alongside individually purchasable variants, where the bundle’s stock automatically stays tied to whichever individual variant runs lowest, most bundle tools handle static product bundling well but fall apart when a bundle needs to share and deplete stock from the same pool as its individual components in real time. Another one is conditional/smart bundle discounts that only apply when specific different products are combined (not just any 2 of the same item), a lot of tools let you set quantity-based bundle discounts easily but struggle with “this discount only applies if Product A AND Product B are both in cart,” which matters a lot for merchants selling complementary items rather than identical multiples. Hope this helps solve your problem, and if it does, don’t forget to like and mark it as the solution. Thank you!
One thing I’ve found frustrating with some bundle tools is that they’re great for simple “pick X items” bundles, but start getting complicated when products have dependencies.
For example, if a customer selects Product A, I’d love the bundle to automatically show only compatible accessories or add-ons. A lot of apps still require workarounds for that kind of conditional logic.
Another challenge is maintenance. Creating a few bundles is easy, but when you have dozens of products and bundle combinations, updating pricing, inventory, and product availability can become surprisingly time-consuming.
I’ve also noticed that inventory accuracy becomes much more important during promotions or peak sales periods. A bundle may look available, but one component can sell out independently and create fulfillment issues if inventory isn’t updated in real time.
One reason I like more flexible approaches (for example tools that combine bundle building with conditional logic, such as Easify Box Bundle Builder BYOB) is that they can reduce some of that complexity, but I still think the industry has room for improvement around large-scale bundle management and compatibility-based product selection.
If I could ask for one feature that doesn’t seem fully solved yet, it would be a bundle system that’s easy to set up, inventory-aware, and smart enough to automatically guide customers toward compatible products without requiring dozens of manual rules.
Beyond the feature list, I’d want a bundle tool to explain invalid states before the shopper invests time building. Track builder start → valid bundle → ATC, incompatible-selection attempts, removals in cart, and discount confusion.
A lot of bundles work technically but leak at compatibility or price comprehension. Showing which choices remain valid, why an option is unavailable, and the exact savings before ATC would be high-value.
Hey, @GROOPIE
Hope you are doing well!
One big gap is inventory management for bundles. It would be great if bundle sales automatically deducted the correct quantities from each individual SKU, including when the same products are used across multiple bundle combinations. That would make bundle management much easier for merchants.
