I’ve tried to get listed on Google and Google shopping for SEO 3 times now, and have failed approval all 3 times. I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong as I’d like to get listed on Google and get free Google shopping ads set up and such. Not really sure the correct way of going about it, but it said that my checkout process was incomplete. What could this mean in my store? I have tried a test order with zero issues. Thank you.
You’re doing it the correct way. The trick is persistence.
Google the exact error that Google Merchant Center is giving you is where I’d suggest starting. They also have a way to request review, if you’ve fixed the issue - request review and respond to the email ticket it opens.
Common issue is no shipping/refund policy defined. This may or may not be what they are meaning by checkout incomplete, just guessing without any more context.
I’ve heard that it can be because I don’t have it set up where payments can be made from anywhere in the world, but only allowed to be shipped to U.S. and I’ve also heard that it’s because I need to make sure I can accept all IP addresses on my site and such. The last thing I’ve heard is I don’t have all my methods of payment listed at checkout.
Now, with this, how do I go about changing these things? It was hard enough for me to figure out the shipping part when I had started to make my store months ago. Thank you
