What theme should I use for a vintage store with specific features?

I’m looking for a theme with specific features to meet my shop’s needs. I sell a large variety of vintage/secondhand items.

Features I’m looking for include:

  • mobile optimized/responsive

  • customizable colors/fonts (google, typekit)

  • mega menu suitable for many different categories/collections

  • customer reviews that can be linked to products or the entire site

  • product wishlist and social share options

  • quick view

  • product images with zoom

  • product videos

  • ability to remove quantity on products that are sold individually

  • advanced customizable product filtering

  • advanced payment/shipping options (buy now, make offer, layaway, local pickup request)

  • contact button for questions about that specific product on each page (automatically references the listing info for the customer)

Hoping to find something that’s creative that has parallax features or a unique layout that’s also very clean, minimal and easy to navigate.

Any recommendations out there for this seemingly unicorn of a theme? :unicorn:

Based on your store type (vintage/secondhand items) and required features (12 points you mentioned) I would recommend you try Shopify Dawn theme. It meets most of your feature requirements except a few. For example, product wishlist, customer reviews that can be linked to products or the entire site. For these specific features you have to install some Shopify apps.

Old thread, but I noticed you listed ‘make an offer’ as one of your must-have features. Nobody in the replies addressed that one. I built a Shopify app called Fluxley that does exactly this: customers click a button and negotiate their own price within limits you set. Works with any theme. Especially useful for vintage and secondhand since every piece is unique and buyers naturally expect to negotiate. Free to install and commission-only, so you only pay if it actually closes a sale.
